It’s A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

Seven days of rain ended today and none too soon. After a hectic week of mind numbing classes, circuitous conference calls, grating attorneys meetings, and one hacking lung worm virus, the sun is a welcome respite. Plus I sold out my LONG.com position at the exact bottom, which really pissed me off. I think my eyes must have a gaunt dugout look more likened to the heroine chic élan seen on the catwalks of Milan than the beaches of Rio. Must remedy the situation STAT. In other news, Carnavale fast approaches. We received word from Carol, our favorite Carioca, that our appearance would be mandatory in the Viradoura Samba School parade. Top notch! Then the following photo slunk its way into the inbox with the stinging caption.. “suas fantasias” — your costumes.

I’m not going to say a thing. Let’s open this one up to the general public. Your comments much appreciated.

“Drumline” dropout, but that’d look good on you, Witz. Shine on you crazy diamond.

I was a fighter, I could turn on a thread. Now I stand accused of the things I've said.
