Prophet on the burning shore

I am not sure which is worse. Sage advice from Witzy turning oddly prophetic, or failing to heed said advice and nearly drowning. As I fished myself out of the raging sea this weekend, I had the afternoon to dry out and ponder the conundrum. Witzy as life giving soothsayer? Has life turned upside down for this imprudent blog editor. Certainly literally, we now call the Southern Hemisphere home, but figuratively as well? The afternoon’s contemplation slipped away from me as Witzy and I soaked up the ceaseless sights and sounds of Ipanema beach. However before it was all over we would be treated to two helicopter rescues of drowning victims and no less than 15 white cap fly overs by the local guarda vidas. Who knew the Brazilian Baywatchers styled in heli’s, eat it Mitch Buchannon. On firmer ground, check out some street scenes from the local neighborhood.
